A Decade of Dedicated Grassroots Empowerment in Delhi NCR & UP
Waste Pickers Welfare Foundation (WWF) was informally initiated in 2008 by a group of dedicated social workers and professionals in Delhi NCR, and formally registered on 26 May 2014 under the Indian Trusts Act (Registration No. 1690, Sub-Registrar IV Delhi).
Founded under the leadership of Late Shri Bali Charan, the organization focuses on the overall social, educational, and economic empowerment of socially disadvantaged populations—specifically waste pickers, daily-wage ragpickers, women, and vulnerable children in informal urban settlements.

Informal Inception & Formal Trust Registration
Initiated community welfare in Shahdara; formally registered as a National Level Trust under Indian Trusts Act (Reg. No. 1690).
Education & DARPAN Enrollment
Established bridge learning centres in East Nathu Colony; enrolled on NITI Aayog NGO-DARPAN (DL/2019/0246760).
Digital Labs, Health & SHGs
Partnered with DUDA Ghaziabad for Self-Help Groups, expanded computer classes, and launched free medical camps with Max Foundation & Sirona.
80G, 12A & CSR Scaling
Awarded full 80G and 12A exemption orders by CIT (Exemption) Delhi, enabling institutional partnerships.
