Fourteen-year-old Aman grew up in a waste-worker household in Shahdara, Delhi. Despite living in the heart of the national capital region, Aman had never touched a computer keyboard or viewed a digital monitor up close. Without digital exposure, he faced severe educational disadvantages in a rapidly modernizing academic and employment landscape.

When Waste Pickers Welfare Foundation established the Digital Learning Lab equipped with modern desktop workstations and high-speed internet, Aman was among the first batch of youth to enroll. He began with foundational computer hardware recognition, keyboard familiarity, and mouse navigation under the guidance of our dedicated technology trainers.

Through persistent practice, Aman rapidly advanced through structured typing modules, reaching a certified typing speed of 35 words per minute. He went on to master Microsoft Office tools, including Word document drafting, Excel spreadsheet data entry, digital email communication, and safe online educational research.

Upon successfully passing our comprehensive end-of-course practical assessment, Aman was awarded his very first certified Computer Literacy Certificate in a proud community graduation ceremony. The training has transformed his confidence and expanded his horizons. Aman now aspires to pursue higher studies in Computer Science and secure formal employment in the digital sector.
